CHARMEG needed a housing for their latest product, an electric thermostat. The new housing will update their line up, with a more modern design.
These devices are usually installed in basements, factories or companies. Thus the device needed to be robust but in the same time have a simple yet timeless design.
Objectives

The housing has to be compatible with existing PCBs that Charmeg use in their product line up.

Design for injection molding.

Reduction of manufacturing cost.

The housing must be water resistant.

Manufacturing Methods
Injection molding. The housing consists of four pieces. All the parts are made via injection molding and the material used is ABS.
Various scenarios- solutions were examined carefully.
